can't wait until the fall. my favorite season. full of crispy cold skies and football games. this its weird, but itll be the first time i havent cheered at a football game since 6th grade. well except for when i was on homecoming court, but that doesnt count. its wieieiriierd.

YES! I am alive indeed. i know you all thought i mustve fallen from a great height or something of that nature, but im right as rain.

SOOO much has gone on in the life of this little girl. SOOOOOOOOOO much.

so i wont go over all of that funness, ill simply give a run down of future exciting events:

1) prom this friday! my dress is red, ladies.

2) state speech and debate next saturday

3) don's prom in new orleans the next friday

4) followed by jimmy buffett on saturday

5) my last day of high school is May 12, 2006

6) 1/2 year anniversary with don May 1

i havent posted in an incredibly long time.

ok, so updates:

youth leg was fun. go supreme court go!

i got into quarterfinals of emory... and i saw johnny lippincott! YES. we talked about the joys of college.

today is my three month anniversary with don. ok, its a quarter of a year, and we view it as on the verge of being a long time hahaha. i love him tons.

i submitted my honors college app for ole miss, and i have a ton of interviews on the horizon for mc, millsaps, the like. ill see you on the 11th payter.

now i must dance away....goodbye!

i am so lucky. i dont mean to sound like all uppity and stuff. i have lows....and they arent any fun. but my ups are just sooo high and wonderful. i am so lucky. or, more truthfully, i am so blessed!

new years was great :). i accidentally hit trevor with the car....baaaad move anna. but the night was fun. the following days have been very cool, except for the going back to school. but i must deal with this. haha.

i got to hang out with laura and phlip! we went with don to the olive garden...our waiter was soooo fabulous. if you know what i mean. yay! we also went ice skating!

i saw life is beautiful and its a great movie. i hope i can be the kind of person who makes the lives of others better. i hope i do it right now!

well school tomorrow. haha guess i should go

sooo last post of oh five.

ohhh five...what hast thou taught me?

ive learned a lot about myself, my God, and other people in the world. all the things for which i am thankful.

i suppose i should have a resolution. i never really have a resolution. well this is the year, guys. im gonna resolve to be more patient. im honestly the most impatient person in the world. and ill cut out the laziness. and ill make more time for Christ.

sorry ive been slacking on the friendship end, guys and gals. ive been lazy. i love you allll sooooo muchhchchhchhc. chhc. ch.

now, off topic, i had the FREAKIEST dream last night. prep kids, i dreamed i was watching yall do the crucible. but! at the same time i was composing like this perfect song. it was so weird, like my dream was this melody i was writing in my head, making a place for every instruments note. and i cant remember any of it! my opus is gone. haha.

i related this story to my mom. she told me that she had onced dreamed of inventing groweos - vitamins which looked like tiny oreos and tasted like them too. wondering where i get my genius from? mom. hmmm....kinda gilmore girls.

exams are over now! hurrah! three cheers for time taking its natural course!

mary and katherine had a lovely christmas party the other night for the girls. we all made ornaments- it was the most fun ive had in a long time. mary and i made a hula girl snowman complete with a golden tan. we'll mail her back and forth each year for mem'ry sake. i cant believe my senior year is halfway gone. weeeeiiriiierid. spent the night with my hero ave'. she really is great.

lindsay is gone back to the bay and i cant believe it!!!! i miss her so much already. she got me a martini glass with little rhinestones. it's so cute. ive gotten some really sweet christmas presents :) dinx got me some cute accessories, droo gave me a rockin cd, my mamaw got me some hottt jeans, lisa got me a bracelet, and the university of mississippi sent me a warm blankie today.

donald and i had early christmas last night. he says he loves his present. i got him a shaker of tony c's, aquateen hungerforce season 4, a cd i made, some sunglasses, and a pic of us. his present for me was so sweet: a cute shirt, a teddy bear, and some pearl earrings. i love them all.

ive said a lot about presents this post. i dont want anyone to think im materialistic. nonono. thats not why i like presents. i could do without presents but i couldnt do without my friends. i love them!

maybe ill get to see laura tomorrow!! i hope so. she is my best friend.

and i cannot wait til christmas!!

buuuuuuuuuuuuuuut i decided to post on this instead.

some great news!!

wayle, cast list went up for MAME today. and i am mame. yay! im really excited. lucille ball played her in one of the movies. so yay!

several colleges have now notified me of acceptance: spring hill, mc, and ole miss. :) more on that later.

my dad is doing better every day.

donald is very sick. i think he either has typhoid or pneumonia. maybe even oldmonia!! haha. yea you better get it.

i organized today. it was rather liberating. i think the reason i did this was because of the strange mood i had today. i had this big need to be alone and quiet today. i read the new yorker. yea, it was that kind of mood. when i got in the car i listened to postal service.

i was sick on monday and i slept almost all day. but when i wasnt sleeping i watched a movie with goldie hawn called butterflies are free. it was really good. goldie was a hippie who moved in next to a blind musician. they fell in love of course. it was kinda like breakfast at tiffanys but in the 70s.

i really wanna see far away friends during christmas break. call me so we can get together!

thank you so much for your prayers! my dad's double bypass went better than anticipated and there was no cardiac muscle damage. and yesterday when we went to visit him he was absolutely ready to go running around haha. we took him for a walk down the hall. he's gonna be at st dominics at least until saturday and then he's home for 6 weeks. so please continue to pray!

oooo im getting excited about christmas. i know it can get all commercialized and whatnot, but at the heart of it all, christmas is so wonderful.

now, fun facts about anna:

1) I took very good care of the imaginary friend i had when i was about 4 years old. How did i take care of him you ask? well, i made sure he didnt get the rain on him, i buckled him into the car seat, i played ring around the rosy with him, i held his hand when we crossed the street, and when i had to go to kindergarten i made sure mom took good care of him. when i got a little older he went on a plane to california and never came back...true story.

2) i count my steps and the cracks in the sidewalk and the lightpoles on the street.

3) when i pass by fields of grass and stuff in my car, i wonder what it would be like to just nap in the sunshine there...

4) i looove lying on the floor and putting my feet in the air.

5) my first acting role was given to me in k5. i was a pilgrim. i wore a little hat and sang holiday songs.

and now i tagggggggggg tim, my lil bro, cooper, robbin, aaand maymay.

My Weekend

i think the word to describe this weekend would be : intense.

well, search was absolutely amazing. ive never experienced something as rewarding as being on staff for that retreat. its indescribable. the kids, the talks, the everything was so perfect for what it was. im definetely on a spiritual high.

sigh. however. i have something which i desperately need you to pray about. please.

my daddy had a minor heart attack on saturday when i was gone for search. of course, i didnt find out until sunday afternoon when i called my mom to tell her we were on our way home. we visited him in the hospital that night and again tonight. his heart catheterization today showed that he needs open heart surgery, which he's gonna have tomorrow morning. its crazy that after such an amazing weekend such a thing could happen. i just thank God for the wonderful people He has given my family.

please pray for my mom and dad.
